On Saturday I visited the AMNH with my nephew, his wife and daughter. Brianna is in fifth grade and is studying the Aztec and Incas so she asked if we could go look at those exhibits.
The museum is enormous and even though I visit it regularly, I hadn’t been to the hall of Mexican and Central American peoples in decades. It’s wonderful. Brianna looked at the exhibits and took loads of photos of temples, sundials, tools and musical instruments.
I looked at the amazing sculpture and was in awe at the variety and expressions on the faces.
