Manhatta

The building is now known as 28 Liberty. But the minute I saw it, I knew it was the old Chase Bank headquarters. It was a place I’d visited often; Chase was a client for many years. The building has since been sold.

I never noticed or knew about the space on the 60th floor. It’s now occupied by the restaurant and bar, Manhatta. My friend Sue and I had brunch there yesterday. It’s pricey, but the food is fabulous, the service impeccable, and the views!!

We dined while looking north, with a perfect sightline and not a cloud in the sky. After brunch, we walked around the restaurant to see the views from other vantage points.

If you come to NYC, try to go. You’ll have a delicious meal and fabulous views equal to One World Trade without the crowds of tourists.
