I’d been planning to visit ever since the observatory opened in 2015. It was worth the wait.
With 360° views, every few steps brought another breathtaking panorama. I loved the mix of long-established landmarks, like the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge, and the new, often startling architecture, like Hudson Yards and 56 Leonard.
As a lifelong New Yorker, I’m still astounded by the density of the city.
And I could see it all without glasses!
