Thanksgiving Prep

I arrived in Colorado yesterday to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with my cousins. We have been sharing Thanksgiving since I was a small child, and I can count on one hand the number of times we weren’t together.

The preparations for Thanksgiving were well under way. Apple pies were about to be put into the oven. I was immediately put to work. I’m the official chopper. After finely chopping 10 cups of celery, for several different recipes, I took a break. Then it was on to the onions. Fortunately, I had help, ten cups of onions would have had me weeping for days.
